PDF Editor Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the PDF Editor Android app (the "App", package name com.halil.pdfeditor) published by ASYA-AA BV, Brusselstraat 205, 1702 Dilbeek, Belgium ("we", "us"). By installing or using the App you agree to these terms.

1. The service

PDF Editor lets you edit PDF files on your device: edit existing text, fill in forms, add text boxes, images, signatures and notes, highlight, underline and strike out text, draw and add shapes, search text, recognise text on scanned pages (OCR, on the device), add, delete, rotate and reorder pages, merge and split PDFs, save selected pages, create PDFs from images, save pages as JPEG/PNG, add watermarks and page numbers, open password-protected PDFs and save with AES-256 encryption. We may change the App from time to time to improve it.

2. No account

The App does not need an account. Your files are processed only on your device.

3. Your files and results

  • The result is always saved as a new PDF; the original file is not changed.
  • When editing existing text, the App uses the original font. If that font is not available, it chooses the closest equivalent and warns you. Please check the result before you use it.
  • You are responsible for the files you open and edit, and for having the right to edit them. Do not use the App to forge documents or signatures or for any unlawful purpose.

4. Free use and purchases

  • The App is free to download. One save or share per day is free.
  • After that, you can buy a single save, or a monthly subscription with unlimited saves. Prices are shown in Google Play before you buy.
  • Payments are processed by Google Play Billing. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. To cancel: Google Play › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions. Uninstalling the App does not cancel the subscription.
  • Refunds follow Google Play's refund policy. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.

5. Acceptable use

You may not try to bypass the App's purchase or security features, reverse engineer it, or use it for unlawful purposes.

6. Intellectual property

The App and its design belong to ASYA-AA BV or its licensors. You receive a limited, non-transferable licence to use the App. Your files remain yours.

7. Limitation of liability

The App is provided "as is". Keep a copy of important files. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages or for loss of data. Liability for intent or gross negligence and mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

8. Privacy

How the App handles data is described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; the current version is always published on this page. These terms are governed by Belgian law; mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence remain unaffected.
